RICHMOND, Va. --- The East Carolina men's golf team opened play at the Janney Invitational and sits in third-place after a rain soaked first round, which saw play halted for nearly five hours Monday. Playing on the 6,927-Âyard, par 72 Tuckahoe Creek Course at the Country Club of Virginia, the Pirates shot a 7-under 281 and were led by junior Tim Conover's career low-tying round of 5-under 67.
