Day One Results

GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina carded an opening day score of 595 (19-over) and currently holds and 11-shot lead at the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate. The two-day, 54-hole event is being held at the Greenville Country Club.

The Pirates, who posted rounds of 298 and 297, lead Cincinnati (606/30-over) by 11 shots heading into final round action Tuesday. Morehead State (609) and Gardner-Webb (609) are tied for third, while Elon (612) is fifth at 36-over par.

Freshman Dorthea Forbrigd (73-72) sits in fourth place with a score of 145 and junior Lisa Pettersson (72-75) is tied for sixth at 147. Sophomore Kate Law (77-74=151) is tied for 17th, while Catherine Ashworth (76-76=152) and Carley Cox (78-76=154) are tied for 20th and 29th respectively.

Freshman Grace Yatawara carded a 5-over par 149 (74-75) and currently occupies 14th place, while fellow classmate Siranon Shoomee (153) is tied for 27th after rounds of 74 and 79.
