
Baseball Set To Have Two Home Games Televised On CBS Sports Network

GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina's non-conference home baseball game against NC State (April 26) and its home conference contest versus Tulane (April 30) will be nationally televised on the CBS Sports Network according to a release from the American Athletic Conference office Friday.
The midweek match up with the Wolfpack, which is slated for a 7 p.m. (ET) start, marks the second-straight year the game will be broadcasted on CBSSN. Last year, ECU defeated NC State 15-3 in front of 4,734 fans at Lewis Field inside Clark-LeClair Stadium. Sunday's league game against the Green Wave has been moved to a 3:30 p.m. (ET) first pitch.
The Pirates will begin spring practice on Friday, Jan. 27 and are set to open the 2017 season on the road at Ole Miss on Friday, Feb. 17 with a 5 p.m. (ET) scheduled first pitch. ECU's first home game of the year will be against La Salle on Friday, Feb. 24 at 4 p.m. (ET).
Tickets for the 2017 Pirate Baseball Banquet are on sale at a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations will be accepted through 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20 (or until sold out). Fans can reserve their seats by ordering through the Online Ticket Center or by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at (252) 737-4500.
Season tickets are officially on sale with packages starting as low as $120. Pirate fans have several different options to choose from and can purchase their 2017 season tickets by clicking here or contacting the ECU Athletic Ticket Office.
