GREENVILLE, N.C. – Senior outfielder Kacie Oshiro has been tabbed the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week, according to an announcement by the league Monday.

Oshiro racked up two hits, two runs scored and a RBI in the 4-0 series-opening victory over UConn before tallying three hits and a run scored in the 4-1 win over the Huskies that clinched the series. She then scored a run and drew a pair of walks in the 2-1 triumph in the finale of the set that secured the Pirates' first-ever series sweep of an American Athletic Conference opponent.
Â
East Carolina returns to action Wednesday, traveling to Longwood University for a non-conference doubleheader. First pitch for game one at Lancer Field is scheduled for 5 p.m. EDT. Â
