Pirates Set to Face Huskies in First Round of AAC Tournament

Orlando, Fla. – No. 8 seed East Carolina (15-8) is set to play No. 9 seed Connecticut (9-11) Thursday in the first round of the American Athletic Conference. First pitch is slated for 9 a.m. at the USTA National Campus.

Thursday will be the second meeting of the season for the two teams. East Carolina previously swept the Huskies, 7-0, on January 28. In that match Fredric Lehfeldt defeated No. 115 Justin Warren 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.
