
Track And Field Wraps Up Stay At NCAA East Preliminary

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Senior Adam Manns set a new school record in the discus Saturday as the NCAA East Preliminary regional meet wrapped up at the University of Kentucky Outdoor Track And Field Facility.

Manns put up a mark of 55.70 meters, finishing in 13th place and falling just one spot short of advancing to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore. In the shot put, junior Galissia Cause finished 24th with a mark of 15.61 meters.

On the track, the women's 4x100 relay team (Atlanta Woodall, Courtney Warner, Cedrina Singletary, Jasmine Dawson) took 20th place with a time of 45.98.

With the conclusion of the regional, East Carolina's outdoor season has come to its end.
