2016: Emerged from training camp as ECU’s projected starter at the "Z” receiving position, but was ruled ineligible on Sept. 2 (one day prior to the season opener vs. Western Carolina) … Participated on offensive scout team as a redshirt the remainder of the fall … Was a preseason All-American Athletic Conference (third-team) choice as an all-purpose performer by Athlon Sports after enjoying an impressive spring (selected as offensive unit’s MVP).

2014: Played in eight games as a true freshman, making a pair of starts (SMU, Connecticut) ... Experienced action in the first six contests before missing the next five games (Temple, Cincinnati, Tulane, Tulsa, UCF) because of a left knee injury … Returned in time to play against Florida in the Birmingham Bowl … Made collegiate debut against N.C. Central in the season opener ... Caught 14 passes for 264 yards – an average of 18.9 yards per reception ... Tied for third on the unit with four receiving touchdowns (1/N.C. Made 64 catches for 1,182 yards and 19 touchdowns as a senior ... Also threw one pass that resulted in a 35-yard score ... Selected as the Wilmington Star News All-Area Offensive Player-of-the-Year and was a Mideastern Conference First-Team selection in '12 ... Personal: Full name is Trevon Kytrell Brown … Raised by a single mom (Twanna) and now balances life of a student-athlete and fatherhood as a proud dad of a son - Quey (age 5) … Credits his mother and the Wilmington Boys & Girls Club for steering him through many of life’s hurdles, both during his formative years and early in his collegiate days … Enjoys playing the drums, a skill that began with engagement in youth groups … Says many skills, in sport (football, basketball) and music, were acquired visually and refined through persistence and hard work on his own … Major is university studies … Success in classroom has earned ECU Dean’s List and Honor Roll accolades.
