Twice named Conference USA Swimmer-of-the-Year and named to the league's All-Decade Team, Diane Parker was a four-year letterwinner for head coach Rick Kobe. She received the league's top individual swimming honor as a sophomore and junior after being named C-USA Freshman-of-the-Year in 2002. As a sophomore in 2003, Parker led the Pirates to the C-USA Women's Swimming and Diving title and earned her first of three consecutive C-USA Swimmer-of-the-Meet awards. One of only three ECU women's swimmers to compete in multiple NCAA Division I Championships, she won eight individual C-USA titles and was a part of two championship relay teams. She graduated as the owner of 10 varsity records, including six individual marks (100 Breaststroke, 200 Breaststroke, 100 Butterfly, 200 Butterly, 200 IM, 200 Freestyle) and four relays (400 Freestyle, 800 Freestyle, 200 Medley, 400 Medley). Parker is the fourth female swimmer to be elected to the ECU Athletics Hall of Fame.
