Glen Dyer was a three-time All-America diver at East Carolina College during the late 1950s. He earned All-America accolades in both the one-meter and three-meter dives in 1957, '59 and '60. His outstanding individual performances propelled East Carolina to NAIA National Championships in 1957 and again in '59. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he proudly served his country. Dyer lost his life while serving his country during the Vietnam War.
