Jim Gregory was a member of the East Carolina men's basketball team from 1969-71. Gregory was named All-Southern Conference in 1971, averaging 18 points per game and was named the team's Most Outstanding Player.
Gregory tallied 1,193 points during his career and holds a share of the highest ever rebounding average at East Carolina with 11.1 average per game for his career. He averaged a double-double for his career with 15.5 points per game in addition to 11.1 rebounds per game.
