Lester Ridenhour, Sr. participated in football, baseball, basketball and tennis in his four years at East Carolina from 1935-39.
Ridenhour was a Varsity Club member for three years. In his second and fourth season of football, he served as team captain. Because of Ridenhour's great leadership ability, he was also named captain of the basketball, baseball and tennis teams.
He was a tennis champion in his last year of play.
