Purple-Gold Basketball Scrimmage Set For Saturday Morning

GREENVILLE, N.C. --- The East Carolina men's basketball team will hold its
annual Purple-Gold scrimmage inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum on
Saturday, November 8. Practice will be open to the public starting at 11
a.m. with the game scheduled to begin at approximately 12 noon. At the
conclusion of the scrimmage, an autograph session with ECU student-
athletes will be held inside the coliseum.
The scrimmage will be a part of the weekend's Homecoming festivities highlighted by the Pirates' football game against USF at 2 p.m.
Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase season tickets and choose their seats, and representatives from the ECU Athletic Department will be on site to answer questions regarding tickets.
The game time for the Pirates' contest against Virginia Tech in Norfolk on Dec. 27, which had been previously unannounced, has been slated for a 7 p.m. start.
