GREENVILLE, N.C. -- Fans, family and friends of East Carolina's football team are invited to attend the team's third situational scrimmage of spring practice, scheduled for Saturday, April 5, at 1:30 p.m. in Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
The Pirates are expected to run up to 150 plays, featuring live, full-speed tackling and blocking, during the two-hour session.
The scrimmage is open to the public and admission is free of charge.
Last Saturday, approximately 350 fans were on hand for a similar scrimmage in Dowdy-Ficklen.
The Pirates continue to build toward their spring practice finale, the Purple/Gold Game, to be held on Saturday, April 12 at 3 p.m. as part of the 20th Annual ECU Pigskin Pig-Out Party presented by Toyota.
