Frank Robinson Signs Letter-of-Intent With East Carolina

"Frank is a good perimeter shooter and athletic swing player that can really score," Herrion said. "He comes from a very successful prep school that is traditionally one of the premier prep schools in New England."
Last year at MCI, Robinson averaged 17 points, four rebounds, two assists and 1.7 steals per game, leading his team to a second place finish in the New England Prep School Athletic Conference. Robinson, a native of Los Angeles, Calif., also proved that he could fill it up from beyond the three-point line, shooting 40 percent from behind the arc.
"In my eyes, he is an immediate impact player," said MCI Head Coach Eddie Jones, who competed against Herrion as both a player and assistant coach at Maine. "He's a very athletic wing player that plays with a lot of emotion and loves to get other people involved."
Robinson is the Pirates' second signee of the spring. Mike Cook, also a fifth-year prep school player, signed with ECU back on April 16.
