Bronson To Be Withheld From Thursday's Game

GREENVILLE, N.C. ?? East Carolina freshman forward Charles Bronson will be withheld from Thursday night's exhibition game by Pirate head coach Bill Herrion for academic reasons.
A native of Philadelphia, Bronson was one of the first players to sign with the Pirates last season. As a senior at Lutheran High School last year, he averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds and led his team to a 29-5 record.
ECU opens its exhibition season against Newberry College tonight at 7 p.m. inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum.
