ECU Announces Plans For Basketball Alumni Game

GREENVILLE, N.C. -- East Carolina will hold its third annual "Pirate Letterwinners Game" inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 3 p.m, and is there is no admission charge. A meet and greet session will be held inside the coliseum beginning at 2:30 p.m. The game is part of an entire day of activities planned for former ECU men's basketball letterwinners.
Following the conclusion of the game, former letterwinners and their guests will be treated to a dinner at the Murphy Center.
Former players such as Theodore "Blue" Edwards, Lester Lyons, Ronnell Peterson and Ike Copeland are scheduled to participate. Mike Steele and Jerry Woodside will serve as coaches.
The game is a prelude to ECU's Conference USA game against Charlotte, which tips off at 7 p.m.
