Special Dates Announced For 2004 Pirate Football Home Games

GREENVILLE, N.C. --- Several special events have been planned surrounding each of East Carolina's five home football games at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium in 2004 athletic department officials announced Wednesday.
The Pirates open their home schedule on Sept. 11 against Wake Forest, which has been tabbed Pirate Club Weekend and Family Weekend. ECU's Sept. 25 meeting with Cincinnati will be part of Hall of Fame/Letterwinners Weekend. Tulane will serve as the Pirates' Homecoming opponent on Oct. 9.
Military Appreciation Day will feature the Pirates versus Army on Oct. 30. The home finale against Memphis on Nov. 20 has been designated as High School Band Day.
Kickoff times for each game will be announced at a later date.
