Belton Rivers Indicates He Will Transfer

GREENVILLE, N.C. ? East Carolina sophomore Belton Rivers has indicated he will leave the Pirate basketball program confirmed head coach Bill Herrion on Monday.
"Belton has decided to leave and pursue other options," stated Herrion. "We wish him nothing but the best of luck."
Rivers, a 6-1 guard from Atlanta, played in 53 games the past two seasons and averaged 8.4 points per game during his two-year stint. He led ECU in three-pointers made both seasons. Rivers didn't indicate what school he will transfer to.
