Pirates Receiving Preseason Football Honors

GREENVILLE, N.C. -- Although the start of the 2004 football season is better than two months away, the accolades have already started coming in for several members of the East Carolina football team. Junior linebacker Chris Moore and sophomore punter Ryan Dougherty have each been rated among the nation's best players are their respective positions by various publications. An additional five Pirates have also received preseason all-conference accolades by the prognosticators.
