Fans Descend Upon Greenville To Meet The Pirates

GREENVILLE, N.C. -- ECU fans descended upon Bagwell Field at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium Saturday night to meet and greet the 2004 Pirates. Fans enjoyed a catered dinner with Pirate players and coaches before obtaining autographs and photos with their favorite Pirates.
Players lined up by position groups along the sidelines of Bagwell Field for the autograph and photo session.
Players and coaches started the morning with position group meetings before taking in a movie, "The Last Samurai," in the Leo Jenkins Auditorium inside the Ward Sports Medicine Building.
Coaches and selected players then moved over to the Murphy Center to field questions from various media members, which was followed by the Pirates' second scrimmage of the preseason.
ECU will conduct its final two-a-day practice session on Monday, after taking its first day off since the start of camp on Sunday. The Pirates will then hold their final scrimmage of the preseason Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
