WITN To Televise ECU's Conference USA Road Games

GREENVILLE, N.C. ? WITN-TV 7, "The Official Station of the Pirates", will televise all four of East Carolina's Conference USA road games during the 2004 season announced ECU athletic officials Thursday. "Voice of the Pirates" Jeff Charles and WITN Sports Director Billy Weaver will serve as the telecasters for each game with Amanda Ross patrolling the sidelines.

The first telecast of the season will be Saturday, Oct. 2 against Louisville. The NBC affiliate will also televise games at Southern Miss (Oct. 23), Houston (Nov. 6), and South Florida (Nov. 13).

Since 1998, WITN has aired nearly 20 ECU football games, bringing exciting ECU football into the homes of Pirate fans throughout Eastern North Carolina.
