Pirate Walk To Commence Behind North Stands

GREENVILLE, N.C. ?? Due to the construction of the new baseball stadium, the Pirate Walk will begin behind the north stands at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium this season.

The team will be dropped off near Gate 5 and proceed through the courtyard between the Murphy Center and Minges Coliseum, and behind Ward Sports Medicine Building before entering the locker room.

The Pirate Walk will take place two hours prior to each home game's kickoff. Along its journey for pregame preparation, the team will be ushered by the Marching Pirates and the ECU Cheerleaders.

Kickoff for Saturday's home opener against Wake Forest is scheduled for 7 p.m. ECU fans are invited to come early and align the sidewalk to support the Pirates as they arrive at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
