GREENVILLE, N.C. --- The East Carolina University basketball teams will host "Minges Madness", Friday, October 21 inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum.
The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with the festivities beginning at 7 p.m. and admission is free to everyone. Jersey Mike's Subs, Papa John's and Pepsi will provide complimentary food and soft drinks for the first 500 ECU students in attendance. All students and fans must enter through Gate 2, located at the front of the coliseum.
The night will feature a variety of contests for students to compete in and performances by the ECU dance team and cheerleaders. All students must have their ECU student ID cards to be eligible to participate in the contests.
The 2005-06 men and women's teams will be introduced followed by a brief intrasquad scrimmage by the men's team.
