East Carolina used its sixth different starting lineup of the season and fifth in the last five games. Tyronne Beale, Corey Rouse, Sam Hinnant, Japhet McNeil and Jeremy Ingram started together as a unit for the first time this season.

The Pirates finished the game with its best shooting performance since 1999. ECU shot 60.3 percent (35-for-58) from the floor against Limestone. The last time ECU shot over 60 percent for a game was December 30, 1999 against Presbyterian when it shot 60.4 percent (29-for-48).

ECU shot 66.7 percent from the field in the first half, marking the first time the Pirates had shot over 60 percent in a half since March 6, 2004 against Southern Miss. The Pirates made 13-of-20 second half shots for 65.0 percent.

East Carolina scored a season-high 87 points, besting its previous season-high of 86 scored in the season opener against North Carolina A&T.

ECU has won 15 of its last 16 games when scoring 80 or more points, including 15 consecutive regulation games. The last time ECU lost when scoring over 80 points was February 7, 2004 to Charlotte in overtime (90-96).

ECU shot over 40 percent from behind the three-point line for just the third time this season, connecting on 8-of-19 3s for 42.1 percent. The Pirates are 3-0 this season when shooting better than 40 percent from behind the arc.

The battle of the boards belonged to the Pirates for a fourth consecutive game and the eighth time in 10 games this season. ECU has rebounding margin of +2.1 in 2005-06.

ECU won its 18th consecutive regular season game against a Division II opponent.

Recorded a season-high 12 steals.

Limestone's 54 points were the fewest allowed by the Pirates this season.

The Pirates held their third opponent of the season to under 40 percent shooting to improve to 3-0 this season when limiting its opponent to less than 40 percent shooting. Limestone shot 37.0 (17-for-46), the lowest shooting percentage by an opponent this year.

Junior Tyronne Beale

Made his sixth start of the season and scored more points (8) tonight than in his last four games combined (6).

His four made field goals were the most since making seven field goals in the third game of the season against Wofford.

Senior Corey Rouse

Has scored in double figures in every game this season and 11 consecutive dating back to last season.

Scored double figures for the 30th time in his career and led ECU in rebounding for the 10the consecutive game and 29th time in his career.

Blocked his 39th career shot to move into 11th place on the school's career blocked shots list.

Freshman Sam Hinnant

Made one three-point field goal to maintain his streak of draining at least one three-pointer in every game this season.

Made his 10th consecutive start of the season and continued his streak of being one of only two players to start each game this year

Junior Japhet McNeil

Distributed seven assists to bring his career total to 280.

Made two steals to bring his career total to 120.

Sophomore Jeremy Ingram

Scored a career-high 25 points, dwarfing his previous career-high of nine points scored in his ECU debut against Winthrop.

His five made 3s were the most by an ECU player since Belton Rivers made five against UAB on February 14, 2004.

Junior Courtney Captain

Made one three-point field goal to maintain his streak of draining at least one three-pointer in every game this season.

Freshman Jeff Robinson

Handed out a career-high two assists, equaling his season total entering the game against Limestone.

Credited with his first career steal.

Sophomore Josh King

Scored his first points of the season. King scored five points for his most points in a game since tallying 11 points against Saint Louis a year ago.

Freshman Quinton Goods

Scored the first points of his career after being held scoreless in two previous games played.

Grabbed seven rebounds in six minutes of action. Tallied just one offensive board in 16 minutes of action this season prior to the Limestone game.
