Record-Crowd Meets 2005 Pirates

GREENVILLE, N.C. -- A record-crowd was on hand Saturday evening as East Carolina held its annual "Meet the Pirates Night" in Bagwell Field at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. Fans enjoyed a catered dinner with players and coaches before obtaining autographs and photos with their favorite Pirates.
Players lined up by position groups along the sidelines of Bagwell Field for the autograph and photo session.
Players and coaches enjoyed a nice break from the day-to-day routine of practice and meetings when they held their first scrimmage of the fall earlier in the afternoon.
The Pirates will take a day off from the field Sunday before returning to the Cliff Moore Practice Facility Monday for their second two-a-day schedule of camp. ECU will conduct the pair of workouts beginning at 8:45 a.m. and 3:50 p.m.
