
ECU-Southern Miss Football Game Designated As Military Appreciation Day

GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina University will celebrate Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, Oct. 1 as the Pirates recognize and honor the sacrifices made by the men and women of the armed forces and their families.
The Pirates will square off against Southern Miss in a Conference USA football match-up at 6:00pm in Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. The day will feature many military festivities along with recognition of military dignitaries and home town heroes.
A special ticket price has been set for all military members, both past and present, and their immediate family members. Tickets are available for $15 with a valid military ID. The $15 price includes a game ticket and a concessions voucher good for a hot dog and a Pepsi fountain drink. In addition ECU will be offering bus service to and from the game to participating Military Bases in Eastern North Carolina.
Tickets are available on all participating Military Bases and through the ECU Athletic Ticket Office by calling 1-800-DIAL-ECU.
