
East Carolina Holds Off St. Paul's 80-74

GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Corey Rouse had a double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds to lead East Carolina to an 80-74 victory against St. Paul's on Saturday.
Tyrone Beale and Sam Ninnant each scored 13 points and Jeremy Ingram added 13 points off the bench for the Pirates (6-7, Conference USA). Courtney Captain recorded 11 points off the bench.
Hassan Robinson led four players in double-digit scoring for St. Paul's with 21 points. Antonia Hargrove and Brandon Royal scored 12 points apiece and Omar Shands came off the bench to score 11.
The Tigers (5-4, Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association) led 42-33 at the break and stayed in front for most of the second half.
The Pirates turned the game in their favor with a 10-2 run in the final 3:48 of the contest.
