ECU Athletics Announces Tickets For Troops Campaign

GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina University Athletics formally announced on Wednesday the Tickets for Troops campaign that has been advertised during the past three home football games.
Pirate Fans are encouraged to show their support of our Armed Forces by purchasing specially priced tickets to be donated directly to active service members and their immediate families. Each ticket costs just $15 and is eligible as a tax-deductible contribution. Tickets for troops can be donated online or by calling the Ticket Office at 1-800-DIAL-ECU.
Each ticket purchased helps send one of the dedicated men and women who serve our country to our Military Appreciation Day game against Marshall on Veterans' Day, November 11, 2006. All Hands on Deck to show your appreciation and support by ordering Tickets For Troops today. Tickets will be distributed to local members of the military and to all participating North Carolina Military Bases.

Pirate Athletics also encourages area businesses to participate in Tickets for Troops. Three donation levels have been set up and each business will be recognized on the videoboard during the Nov. 11 game versus Marshall.
