ECU Announces Promotions For Marshall Game

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina University Athletics Department has announced the following promotions that will take place on Nov. 11, 2006 when the Pirates host Conference USA foe Marshall at 1 p.m. inside Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
Military Appreciation Day
All active and retired military are eligible for a specially priced $15 ticket. Tickets are available by contacting the ECU Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-DIAL-ECU. Military Appreciation Day will include many Military themed festivities including displays around the stadium, a pre-game flyover and special recognition during the game.
Tickets For Troops
Tickets that have been donated as part of the Tickets for Troops Campaign are available for active military and their family members. Contact your local participating military base to redeem these tickets. Pirate Fans are still encouraged to donate to the tickets for troops by clicking on the tickets for troops icon www.ECUPirates.com.
Toys For Tots
In conjunction with Military Appreciation Day, ECU and the Marines will hold a Toys for Tots drive. Fans who bring a new unwrapped Toy to the Minges Ticket Office are eligible to receive a $15 ticket. Fans who already have a ticket are still encouraged to bring a toy as there will be Marines at the stadium entrances to collect donations.
Academic Success Day
Any student who has an academic success card will receive free admission when they are accompanied by an adult and present their card to the ticket office.
ECU Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day
All ECU Faculty and Staff are eligible to purchase a $15 ticket as part of ECU Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day.
Football/ Basketball Doubleheader
Anyone who presents their football ticket stub to the Minges Ticket Office following the football game is eligible to receive a ticket to the 6 p.m. ECU vs. Morgan State basketball game for only $5. A limited number of tickets are available.
