ECU's Allison Named To Biletnikoff Watch List

GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina senior wide receiver Aundrae Allison was named to the 2006 Biletnikoff Award Watch List, which is given annually to the nation's outstanding college football receiver, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced today.
The award is presented annually on the ESPN College Awards Show and the TQC Foundation hosts the party at Walt Disney World for the finalists and sponsoring organizations of the many awards presented on ESPN.
The Kannapolis, N.C. native, who was named to the Conference USA preseason all-conference team, hauled in a team-high six passes for 86 yards in the season opener last week against Navy. A year ago Allison became the first receiver in ECU history to pick up over 1,000 receiving yards (1,024) on his way to first-team All C-USA honors.
Allison and the Pirates will be back in action Saturday, Sept. 9 when they face UAB at 7 p.m. (EDT) in Birmingham, Ala., at Legion Field.
