The East Carolina Athletic Department and Alumni Association have partnered with three local establishments to invite Pirate fans to watch ECU take on Boise State in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl on December 23 at 8 p.m.
Boli's, Pirate's Pub, and Tie Breakers are supporting the Bowl Game Tickets for Troops campaign and each have donated tickets to help ECU and Conference USA send troops in Hawaii to the game. The Athletic Department and Alumni Association would like to thank these partners for their support of Pirate football and invite the Pirate Nation to these establishments to cheer on the Pirates in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl.
Fans can tune up for the game Sunday night by tuning into WITN-TV 7, "The Official Station of the ECU Pirates," at 6:30 p.m. for "Pirates In The Pacific," a 30-minutes show highlighting the events of bowl week.
Host Jeff Charles will join Billy Weaver and Brian Meador as they follow the Pirates on their way to the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl. The show will include highlights from the 2007 season, player and coaches' interviews, a look ahead to the match-up with Boise State and highlights from the week in Hawaii.
