GREENVILLE, N.C. - Fans wishing to welcome 2007 C-USA Women's Basketball Tournament Champion East Carolina back to Greenville can do so at approximately 1:30 p.m. Monday near Gate 2 (north side) of Minges Coliseum.
The Lady Pirates left Tulsa early this morning after knocking off Rice 79-70 in Sunday's title game to earn the program's initial C-USA championship and first NCAA Tournament bid since 1982. After a stop in Atlanta and air arrival at Raleigh-Durham International Airport, ECU will bus back to Greenville.
East Carolina will now wait to hear who its next opponent will be when the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship bracket is announced at 8:00 p.m. (ET) Monday, March 12 on ESPN.
