
Meet The Pirates Night Set For August 18

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The 13th Annual Meet The Pirates Night, East Carolina's preseason football fanfest, has been set for Saturday, Aug. 18, at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
Pirate football fans are invited to bring the whole family for a catered meal and get to know the 2007 ECU football team along with head coach Skip Holtz and staff. Players and coaches will be seated among fans in a relaxed dinner setting.
Meet the Pirates will be held under the north (upper deck) side of Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. Entrance at Gate 7 will begin at 5:00 p.m., with dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. Meal tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under as well as ECU student (with valid student ID). Advance reservations are required.
Seating is limited and fans are encouraged to make their reservations by Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 5 p.m., on a first-come, first-served basis.
Following the dinner, a photo and autograph session with the ECU football team is scheduled on Bagwell Field starting at approximately 6:30 p.m. Football posters and schedule cards will be given away and officially licensed ECU souvenirs will be available at special promotional pricing. There is no admission charge for this portion of the evening.
Fans solely attending the photo and autograph session must also enter the stadium through Gate 7 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The Pirates will open the 2007 home schedule September 8 against the North Carolina Tar Heels. Season tickets are still available and can be purchased online at ecupirates.com or by calling the ticket office.
