
T.J. Hose Named Cape Cod Pitcher-of-the-Week

HARWICH PORT, Mass. - East Carolina starting pitcher T.J. Hose was named Coca-Cola Pitcher-of-the-Week in the Cape Cod League officials announced earlier this week.
The Hagerstown, Md. native worked eight innings on the week in two appearances for the Bourne Braves, striking out eight, walking two and not allowing an earned run. On the season, Hose is 3-0 with a 0.56 ERA in four games with 16 strikeouts, four walks and has allowed nine hits.
Hose's current teammate Brian Pruitt (Stetson) was named Hitter-of-the-Week after collecting seven hits (.412) in four games with a pair of home runs and doubles. Pruitt also scored three times, stole one base, slugged .882 and compiled a .474 on-base percentage.
The Braves (11-5-2) vaulted into first place in the West Division after winning eight of its last ten games, including six in a row at one-point.
