Jasmine Young Eclipses 1,000 Point Mark

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Jasmine Young has stamped her name into the East Carolina record books once again. The junior guard recently eclipsed the 1,000 point mark in her career.
Young became just the 17th Lady Pirate to surpass the 1,000 mark in points scored in their career. She currently has 1,061 career points in an ECU uniform, in her third season donning the purple and gold. Young is 25 points away from passing Marcia Girvin for 16th on the all-time list.
Young and the Lady Pirates return to action Sunday, Jan. 27 as they host Marshall in a 2:00 p.m. tip from Minges Coliseum. The game will be aired locally on WITN-TV with Jeff Charles and Billy Weaver calling the action.
