Pirate Club To Host FB Signing Day Event

GREENVILLE, N.C. -- East Carolina Head Football Coach Skip Holtz will officially display his fourth signing class to Pirate Club members and their guests on Wednesday, Feb. 6 during a "2008 Signing Day Celebration" event from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Harvey Hall inside the Murphy Center.
Tickets for the event, priced at $10.00, can be purchased by Pirate Club members only at the ECU Athletics Ticket Office (800-DIAL-ECU) or at the Pirate Club Suites (252-737-4540), which are located on the third floor of the Ward Sports Medicine Building. There will not be any walk-up sales available at the Murphy Center, thus all orders and purchases must be made in advance.
Holtz will announce the newest additions to the Pirates' program and provide details on each signee before capping the segment with assorted highlight video footage. In-depth biographical capsules of all East Carolina signees will be distributed upon entry while complimentary light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be available throughout the event.
Representatives of the ticket office will also be on-hand to answer any inquiries about 2008 season ticket packages when the doors open at 4:30 p.m.
East Carolina's official athletic website, www.ECUPirates.com, will provide hourly updates on ECU's signing class throughout the day beginning at 11:00 a.m.
With the Pirates hosting Rice in a Conference USA basketball clash beginning at 8:00 that night, those solely attending the football function are encouraged to park in either the White Lot (practice soccer field) or in the Lower Minges Lot as general basketball parking guidelines will be enforced.
