Post-Game Quotes:
- Mack McCarthy Coker Post-Game Quotes

- Chad Wynn Coker Post-Game Quotes

- Sam Hinnant and Brock Young Coker Post-Game Quotes

On Chad Wynn
"Chad did some good things. He can't have six turnovers and he has to have more than three rebounds, but Chad is a sophomore and is a guy who has not played a whole lot of minutes in his career. These are the most minutes he has played in a real game in a long time, so I was proud of him. He has worked really, really hard in the off-season, so it's nice to see him get some reward for that statistically."
On The Game Overall
"The first thought I had is what a great crowd. I can't believe it, with the weather we're having and on a Friday night. That was just a great job by our marketing and promotions people and by the students to come out. I can't thank everybody enough. That was a wonderful atmosphere to open up in. That'll bode well for the future and hopefully they saw some things that will keep them coming back."
On Brock Young
"He's capable of being more consistent. Last year when he played poorly he didn't stay in the game, he came out. This year he's going to have to play through that. I thought he did a pretty good job in the first half of righting the ship a couple of times even when he made the mistake. But in the second half I didn't think he did quite as good of a job. He's got to do a better job and he's got to get used to playing a lot of minutes. But he's a much better player than he was a year ago and he's a point guard who is capable of taking us where we want to go."
On His Expectations Heading Into Tonight "The first eight minutes or so went better than I expected and then the next 12 went worse than I expected. The crowd was better than I had expected or hoped for, too. We played super at times, which I honestly didn't expect, and we played really poorly at times, and I didn't think we would do that either."
Sophomore Chad Wynn
On His Performance Tonight
"It feels real good. We've been out there preparing every day, sometimes for three or four hours a day, before the season started. It feels real good to play this first game and get a win.
"My confidence is up. I worked hard over the summer to get to this point, but this is just the first game."
Senior Sam Hinnant
On The Fast Start
"It was very important. A lot of us had first-game jitters. This was my fourth time doing it and I had first-game jitters, too. I'm glad we got off to a fast start, but we've got to keep the same intensity throughout the whole half."
Sophomore
Brock Young
On Being The Starting Point Guard
"It felt good. I know I've got a big task ahead of me. I just have to take what I learned throughout last year and over the summer and keep it going."
