GREENVILLE, N.C. - Individual tickets for the Pirates' Conference USA games against Houston, Memphis, Marshall and UTEP will go on sale to Pirate Club members and the general public Friday, August 15 beginning at 9:00 a.m. according to an announcement by the ECU Athletics Ticket Office Thursday.
Tickets, which are priced at $35.00 for adults and $20.00 for youth 12 and under, will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fans can make their purchases online at www.ECUPirates.com, by calling 800-DIAL-ECU or 252-737-4500 locally, or by visiting the ECU Athletics Ticket Office.
Single-game tickets for the Pirates' clash against West Virginia on Sept. 6 have already been exhausted but there is a possibility that additional tickets could become available for online purchase on September 1 after the ECU student pick-up process is completed.
However, fans can guarantee a seat to watch the Pirate-Mountaineer matchup by buying a season ticket package, which will continue to be available through the annual "Meet The Pirates" event Saturday, August 16. Over 21,000 season tickets have already been sold for the 2008 season, a number which is quickly approaching last year's school-record of 22,000.
In addition, there are less than 500 tickets remaining for East Carolina's season-opener against Virginia Tech at Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium, while individual road game tickets for Virginia and all C-USA games are currently on-sale as well.
