ECU Football Ticket Update

GREENVILLE, N.C. - For the second time in as many home games this season, East Carolina's Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium will be at full capacity Saturday when the Pirates face Houston in a pivotal Conference USA contest as Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Operations Scott Wetherbee announced an official sell-out Tuesday afternoon.

In addition to the news of its second consecutive sell-out, the ECU Athletics Ticket Office also released the following ticket availability updates for the remaining home and away contests of the 2008 season:

Less than 1,000 tickets remain for the Memphis game Oct. 18, an East Division matchup that is also tabbed as Military Appreciation Day. However, there are no general public seats available for the Nov. 8 Homecoming contest against Marshall. Students may pick up their tickets Tuesday through Thursday the week of the game but if they do not claim their entire allotment, those will be made available online the Friday before the game at www.ECUPirates.com. Tickets, which are priced at $35 for adults and $20 for youth 12-and-under, are still available for UTEP's first-ever visit to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium (Senior Day) on Friday, November 28.

ECU still has tickets available for the Virginia game in Charlottesville October 11. The deadline to order the $35 tickets to watch the Pirates battle the Cavaliers is October 1 and those can be purchased online, by phone at 800-DIAL-ECU or by stopping at the Athletics Ticket Office.

All Conference USA away game tickets are also available for the general public to purchase. Tickets for games at UCF and Southern Miss are $35 each while seats for the contest at UAB are $25 each. All away game seat assignments are based on the Pirate Club Priority Point System.
