Caught six passes and moved into sole possession of seventh place on the school's all-time receptions chart with 112 ... With his first catch of seven yards in the first quarter, he extended his current streak to 22 games with at least one catch ... Extended current streak to 15 games with at least two receptions ... - Van Eskridge forced his second fumble of the season and fifth of his career in the third quarter ... Finished with six tackles (five assists) ... Snapped six game streak with at least eight total stops dating back to the 2008 C-USA Championship Game against Tulsa.
- Linval Joseph teamed up with Chris Mattocks on a one-yard TFL in the third quarter ... He experienced first action on offense after being used as a blocking back on the Pirates first two rushing TDs ... Finished with four stops (three assists).
- Michael Byrd returned his first kickoff in the third quarter on a fair catch.
- Matt Dodge punted five times in the game for 198 yards (39.6 avg.) ... Tied season-long of 58-yarder (North Carolina) in the third quarter ... Eight of 24 punts have gone for 50 or more yards.
- Emanuel Davis picked off his fifth career pass in the fourth quarter ... In two games against The Herd, he has three interceptions for 31 yards ... Finished with five stops (three assists).
