Pirates To Paint Black Friday Purple

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina Department of Athletics will "Paint Black Friday Purple" by launching a football ticket promotion to offer fans an affordable opportunity to watch the Pirates battle Southern Miss for the Conference USA East Division title Saturday at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
The sales blitz, which will begin online at midnight Thursday, will include limitless $10 tickets for upper deck seats normally reserved for ECU students. Approximately 700 tickets remain for the contest that will determine if East Carolina hosts next week's C-USA Championship Game.
With a victory over the Golden Eagles, the Pirates would clinch their second consecutive divisional title and welcome the league's West Division champion to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium for a 12 noon showdown on Dec. 5.
Online purchases can be made by visiting www.ECUPirates.com or by calling the ECU Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-DIAL-ECU between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday. The ticket office will also open at 10 a.m. Saturday before closing at halftime.
