Pirate Football Season Tickets On Sale

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Pirate fans wanting to help East Carolina defend its Conference USA title and battle Virginia Tech and Appalachian State at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium can now do so by purchasing their 2009 season tickets.
With anticipated single-game sell-outs for a Thursday night clash against the Hokies Nov. 5, the opener against the Mountaineers Sept. 5 and C-USA matchups against UCF (Family Weekend) and Rice (Homecoming), season tickets are the only guaranteed option to secure seats for every contest this fall.
While the Pirates' popular Family Weekend contest has sold-out the last two seasons, this year's version against the Knights has also been declared a "Paint It Purple" game for added attraction.
In addition to offering the same season ticket price as 2008, the East Carolina Department of Athletics will once again make a six-month payment plan available that will start in May and conclude in October.
