ECU Announces 2009 Baseball Senior Day

GREENVILLE, N.C. - No. 20 East Carolina's Friday night game against Conference USA foe Memphis has been designated as Senior Day, Head Coach Billy Godwin announced Thursday.
Seniors Trent Ashcraft, Stephen Batts, Britton Cole, Bailey Daniels, Brandon Henderson, Drew Schieber and Ryan Wood will be honored by their coaches and the Pirate Nation prior to first pitch on Friday, May 15 at 5:40 p.m.
This year's senior class has helped the Pirates post a 38-15 overall and 14-7 league record, which has them currently in second place, just one game behind Rice for the regular season conference title.
The Pirates are playing their final regular season series at Lewis Field inside Clark-LeClair Stadium starting tonight with a 6 p.m. first pitch scheduled. ECU and Memphis will wrap-up the three-game tilt Saturday afternoon with a noon start scheduled.
