GREENVILLE, N.C. --- East Carolina University head coach Jeff Lebo and selected members of the men's basketball team hosted their annual media day inside the Murphy Center Thursday to preview the upcoming season.
The senior trio of Jamar Abrams, Chad Wynn and Brock Young joined Lebo. Following a Q&A session with Lebo, media members took turns interviewing both coach and players one-on-one.
The Pirates open up practice this Friday, Oct. 15. The Pirates will start the season with an exhibition game against Montreat on Nov. 5 before officially opening the season Nov. 12 against Erskine.
Home Game Times Announced
This season all Saturday home games inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum will be played at 5 p.m. with the exception of the Jan. 29 game against Houston, which will tip-off at 6 p.m. The Pirates have six Saturday home games this season, including four against Conference USA foes.
All weeknight games will have a traditional tip-off time of 7 p.m. The Pirates' season opener against Erskine is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. following the ladies' game against Mount Olive at 5 p.m.
Pirates Have Three Games On CSS
Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS) has picked up the Pirates' home game against Houston Saturday, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. CSS will also broadcast ECU's road games at Memphis (Sat., Jan. 8 at 4 p.m.) and at Rice (Sat., Feb. 26 at 8 p.m.).
SEASON TICKETS
Fans can purchase men's basketball season tickets now. season tickets begin at just $100 with the Economy Plan and Young Graduate Plan.
 Pirate Club Priority and Faculty/Staff packages are also available and range from $180-$220. Each men's season ticket purchased includes a season ticket for the women's games.
