Beroth Leaves Women's Basketball Team

GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina freshman center Alana Beroth has been granted a full release from her scholarship, according to an announcement by head coach Heather Macy Tuesday.

"We are disappointed that Alana has decided to leave our team," Macy said. "We wish her well and support her in her future endeavors."

The Pirates return to action Friday at Minges Coliseum, facing No. 21 Maryland at 6:30 p.m.
