Macy To Speak At GA/Lina Coaches Clinic

EVANS, Ga. - East Carolina women's basketball head coach Heather Macy will serve as a featured speaker at the GA/Lina Sports Group 2010 Coaches Clinic, scheduled for July 11 at Evans (Ga.) High School.
The clinic will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. while Macy will speak at 12:15 p.m. on "Innovative Practice Drills."
Other featured speakers for the clinic include Steve Wojciechowski (Associate Men's Head Coach, Duke University), Mark Fox (Head Men's Basketball Coach, University of Georgia) and Mike Curry (Associate Head Coach, Philadelphia 76ers).
Before her arrival to ECU, Macy-coached squads at Francis Marion University won the past three NCAA Division II team scoring titles and in five seasons as a college head coach (three at FMU and two at Pfeiffer University), she has compiled a 115-39 record - including back-to-back 27-5 campaigns with the Patriots.
