GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina University Department of Athletics will introduce a special, but limited two-week football season ticket sales promotion beginning Sunday that will provide Pirate fans with their least expensive option to guarantee seats for all six home games in 2010.
A budget-saving price of $120 will be available for a total of 500 northside upper deck seats located in section 214 from July 25 to August 8. In addition to Conference USA clashes against Tulsa, Memphis, Marshall and SMU, non-conference battles against N.C. State and Navy are included in this year's ECU's season ticket package.
Active Pirate Club members can still purchase season tickets in the lower seating areas of Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium for as little as $200 per ticket.
Tickets may be purchased online at www.ECUPirates.com or by calling the ECU Athletics Ticket Office at (252) 737-4500.
Sales for single game tickets will begin Monday, August 9.
Tickets for Troops
Similar to past years, fans will have an opportunity to support ECU and our troops, while earning Pirate Club priority points at the same time. If designated for donation, all season tickets purchased will be delivered to military bases in North Carolina. During the two-week summer savings plan, all season tickets for troops are priced at just $120 each.
For Pirate Club members who do not purchase season tickets, a donation earmarked for a ticket cost will add two points to their respective priority level. Members living outside the Greenville area can display their Purple and Gold gratitude for local military families, which will enable them to literally "fill in" for 2010 ECU home games.
