GREENVILLE, N.C. - First-year head coach Ruffin McNeill and senior inside wide receiver Dwayne Harris travel to Memphis, Tenn., this weekend for the 2010 Conference USA Football Media Kickoff. The event is scheduled to take place Sunday, July 25, at the Hilton. All 12 head coaches and one player from each team in the league will meet with members of the television, radio and print media to preview the upcoming season.
A coaches press conference, presented in three-man increments, begins at 4:00 p.m. ET and lasts one hour. McNeill will be joined by Tulane's Bob Toledo and Southern Miss' Larry Fedora from 4:15-4:30. Players will also take part in their own press conference from 5:00-5:30 p.m. ET. Harris, Memphis' Dominik Riley, Marshall's Mario Harvey and UTEP's Donald Buckram will be on for the first 10 minutes. The day will conclude with an ISP Sports syndicated radio show from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. ET, hosted by Alan York. The event concludes Monday with the 16th annual AutoZone Liberty Bowl Golf Classic, held at the Ridgeway Country Club.
