Player of the Game
Darrius Morrow posted his second-highest scoring game of the season with 17 points in 33 minutes of action. The junior finished the game 5-of-10 from the field and 7-of-11 from the free throw line. He also grabbed a game-high eight rebounds and a season-high three steals. Morrow has scored double figures in three of the last four games, averaging 12.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.

Corvonn Gaines converted the Pirates' first 4-point play of the season. Gaines sank a 3-pointer with 13:09 to play and was knocked to the grown by Memphis' Charles Carmouche. Gaines calmly stepped to the line to sink the free throw.
