
Limited Number Of Tickets Remain For Marshall Game

GREENVILLE, N.C. --- There are less than 500 tickets remaining for East Carolina's game against Marshall inside Williams Arena Minges Coliseum at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12. The Pirates are 13-10 overall this season and 5-4 in Conference USA, one-game out of fourth-place and one-and-one-half games out of second-place.
Fans interested in purchasing tickets may call the ticket office at 252-737-4500 or in person at Athletic Ticket Office on Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased through East Carolina's Online Ticket Center. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for kids 17 and under.
ECU students can pick up their tickets at the Minges Coliseum Ticket Office window beginning at 10 a.m. Friday.
The Pirates have attracted over 6,300 fans each of their last two home games and are averaging 4,481 fans per contest this season, up from last season's average of 3,750. Also, ECU is averaging 5,335 in attendance during the conference schedule, the highest conference average since the 2005-06 season.
ECU defeated Marshall, 82-81, earlier this season in Huntington, W.Va., rallying from a seven-point deficit with 1:45 to play after trailing by 15 in the first half and 12 at halftime. Junior Darrius Morrow poured in 33 points and completed the game-winning three-point play with five seconds remaining, giving ECU the lead for the only time in the game.
Fans are encouraged to show their love for Pirate Basketball by wearing their most cherished ECU apparel to the game as East Carolina University celebrates Love College Hoops Week, a fan driven initiative created to celebrate fan affinity towards college basketball and support the fight against cancer. Love College Hoops Week is organized by the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) to benefit the Coaches vs. Cancer® program.
